Tamara Rodriguez is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer whose journey from Monterrey, Mexico to the world’s stages embodies both fearless ambition and authentic artistry. Based in San Diego, Tamara has spent her life turning passion into performance—sharing her dynamic voice and captivating presence with audiences across television, theater, film, and music venues worldwide.
Early Breakthroughs
Tamara’s artistic spark ignited at the age of 15 when she was cast in the popular Telemundo reality show Quinceañera: Mamá Quiero Ser Artista, which introduced her to millions of viewers. Despite having no prior musical training, she immediately stood out as one of only two Mexican contestants. Just a year later, she was selected from over 10,000 hopefuls to become one of 30 finalists on Univision’s mega-hit Buscando a Timbiriche, La Nueva Banda, a three-month competition that garnered more than 10 million viewers.
Dedication to Education & Craft
Tamara’s rare combination of raw talent and work ethic earned her a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston—one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. She graduated cum laude with a dual major in Voice and Songwriting, balancing rigorous studies with international performances. A standout moment came in 2009 when she sang alongside Lawrence Watson at Boston’s Governor’s Ball, where President Barack Obama was in attendance.
